1993-2002
From the seven beaches to the worldA ten year sprint
The Shichigahama Kokusaimura opened in 1993, just after the bursting of Japan's economic bubble. The enthusiasm of the Kokusaimura staff did not falter in the face of the economic recession, and the small town, which had never been associated with culture or art, continued to run at full speed to connect directly with the world, without going through Tokyo or Sendai.
